Lincoln Plastics Hires Colleen Sorben as Plant Engineer

Lincoln, NE – HTI Plastics is excited to announce the addition of Colleen Sorben.  Colleen started at HTI Plastics in December in the role of Plant Engineer.  Prior to joining HTI, Colleen worked at ADM for 12 years and most recently at Marianna Industries for the previous three years.  In her time with Marianna she held the title of plant engineer before moving on to plant manager.  Colleen’s focus at Marianna was on process optimization, new product development, efficiency improvements, scrap reduction and the streamlining of processes.  She will focus on efficiency improvements, process capture and system flow at HTI.

Colleen received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, SD.  Her educational background and work experience made Collen an ideal candidate for this position and provide her with the necessary skills and knowledge to have a positive impact at HTI Plastics.
