Lincoln, NE – HTI Plastics is pleased to announce a restructuring in the Engineering department which will create a new group focusing on plant processes, efficiencies, and product implementation. Kevin Essink will lead the group in his new role as Engineering Supervisor. Kevin has been with HTI Plastics since May of 1999. During that time, Kevin has served as Maintenance Tech, Automation Specialist, and most recently as Plant Engineer. Kevin’s diverse experience gives him a broad background in implementing and instilling lasting process improvement and product implementation.
Additionally, HTI Plastics has also hired two new Plant Engineers, Julia Tintle and Sam Slagle. Julia has a Chemical Engineering degree and a Certificate of Biomedical Engineering from West Virginia University. She has previously worked for Mylan Pharmaceuticals as a Manufacturing Area Lead for three years. Sam graduated in December from Iowa State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
