It’s one thing for us to say that we are an ISO certified manufacturing company, but what does that mean?  And more importantly, what does that mean for you?

ISO Certification

ISO is short for the Ancient Greek isos, meaning equal, but it’s stands for International Organization for Standardization. ISO is the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards. These standards give state of the art specifications for products, services and good practice, which in turn, help to make industry more efficient and effective all over the world.
ISO certification is unique because it’s not something that is required. It is 100% voluntary. This means that we care enough about our practise to volunteer to develop and adhere internationally agreed upon standards with other exacting companies.

Company Culture

In fact, we feel so strongly about developing and adhering to state of the art standards that we have made it part of our company culture. That is why all our employees are dedicated to manufacturing high quality injection molded products, providing timely deliveries and creating an atmosphere of continuous improvements where all employees strive to keep both internal and external customers satisfied.

How ISO affects you

We want you to rest assure that becoming an ISO certified manufacturing company is not easy. You can’t just claim you have the certifications, you must prove it every year with an audit of your system. For example, we are ISO 9001:2008 certified, which means we adhere to a very high quality management system. Every year we have to show that we are holding to that system to stay certified.
What this means for you is that you can expect us to not only meet, but exceed, high standards of quality. It’s not just our promise, it’s who we are.
Do you have any questions about how a specific ISO certification works or how we adhere to it? To talk about this, or anything else, please, contact us at 800.824.0607 or at sales-hti@htiplastic.com. We’re ready to help.
