CEO Sam Featherston Retires After 31 Years, Assumes Role as Chairman of the Board; CFO Sheli Carpenter Promoted to CEO
Lincoln, NE — 1/14/2025 — PCE Inc. announced this month a significant leadership transition as Sam Featherston, who has served as CEO for the past 31 years, retired from his position effective January 1, 2025. Sam has assumed a new role as Chairman of the Board, continuing to provide strategic guidance and leadership to the company.
Reflecting on his tenure, Sam shared, “It has been one of the greatest honors of my lifetime to serve as CEO of PCE Inc. for the past 31 years. I have enjoyed every day of those 31 years and am immensely proud of what we have achieved together. After much thought and reflection, I have decided it is time to pass the torch and embrace a new chapter as Chairman of the Board.”
The company also announced the promotion of Sheli Carpenter, PCE’s long-serving CFO, to the role of CEO. Sheli brings over 29 years of experience with PCE, during which she has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and long-term success.
